This project is for the 100th anniversary of the movie The Kid , a 1921 American silent comedy-drama film written, produced, directed by and starring Charlie Chaplin, and features Jackie Coogan as his foundling baby, adopted son and sidekick. In this movie, the father and son lived a shabby life full of pits yet they could always fight back with laughter and love. In the end of the movie, the father fell asleep on a door stair and dreamed about a new life in paradise with his adopted son and all his neighbors. 

I illustrated the father and son in angelic figures wandering in a beautiful modern street, in order to express the concept of anniversary and my wish that they're having a free and better life somewhere else in the world.
